The therapists attend a variety of continuing education courses (CEU) and conferences. These classes keep the therapists well-informed on the latest research, as well as provide them with new and up-to-date tools and approaches for therapy. CEU courses and conferences have included topics on dyspraxia, articulation, family involvement in the therapeutic process, social communication, PROMPT(trademark), therapy in the school setting, science and research. In addition, the therapists attend conferences and classes in other professional fields such as occupational therapy, neuroscience, psychology and social work. Most of the conferences are hosted and/or certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association of America.
