Brooke A. Mizrahi, MA, CCC/SLP, received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Minor in Education at the University of Florida. She graduated from New York University, Steinhardt School, where she received a Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. Brooke is licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey and is certified as a Speech Language Specialist and Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities (TSLD). In addition, she is professionally affiliated with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Some of Brooke’s experience includes practicum work at the International Center for the Disabled and Dr. Sun Yat Sen Middle School 131 in Chinatown. She worked for Nassau BOCES schools on Long Island and has two years experience working with children ages 4-14 in the New York City Department of Education system in the Tribeca area of Manhattan. Currently, Brooke is part of a collaborative team at the Therapeutic Nursery of the JCC on the Palisades, a parent/child interdisciplinary pre-school program. She is contributing her efforts as well to the Tenafly Speech & Language Center.
